We've had a lot of problems with people registering on SheLaughed in order to spam and abuse the board, therefore a few months ago, we were forced to change our registration process to one in which you had to wait in order to be "accepted or declined". (A lot more trouble for us and more frustrating to you, but at least this way you won't have to weed through trashy messages posted on the site to get to the good stuff!)

So, if you are a "real over 40's mom" and you were declined, it was probably because your registration was buried in a mass of false accounts and yours got removed by accident.

If you're a "real over 40's mom" still interested in participating, please register again --including enough info in your description that will let us see you're a real mom! Wink

Also, if you've emailed me in the last couple of months, but not received a response, please accept my apologies. Even with a spam feature, we've had a huge amount of junk mail and must weed through it to get to messages from "real over 40's moms" and in recent months, we've had some family needs that took priority over computer time. If you're a "real over 40's mom" Laughing I know you'll understand that!

(So, has anyone ever seen a fake over 40's mom? Wink Would that require cosmetic surgery -- or maybe not just for cyberspace --and who would want to be a fake over 40's mom anyway? Laughing )

Well, did Barbie ever have any babies??? She would be 48, I think, and would qualify (in my opinion) as a fake over 40's mom, don't you think???

But, disappointment...in checking out the history of Barbie, I don't think she and Ken ever tied the knot and have only been boyfriend/girlfriend so there are no babies. Therefore she doesn't qualify! Embarassed Embarassed

Sorry...back to topic of real mom's over 40 who might have been denied registration. Twisted Evil

Actually, I've seen a few "fake-looking over 40's" ladies on make-up or facial skin care ads or commercials --but I don't know if they're moms or not either. Wink
