Even if you desired additional children of your own, would you still want to try to conceive if you found out you were going to be a grandmother?
Yes?
or
No?

Since Kim mentioned her pregnancy in her 40's has taken a toll on her physically, I didn't notice that much difference between the pregnancies in my 20's, 30's, or 40's. I also was very careful about good nutrition, getting enough rest, and healthful habits such as exercise, etc. (although there was a point when I didn't exercise while pregnant! ) My children were older and able to do a lot themselves by the time I had my last pregnancy, too, which helps. (Although I did babysit my granddaughter during that period --I had help then, too, with older daughters!)
Blessings,
Tamara (mom of seven; grandma to two so far!)

Well, I'm 50 and would be absolutely THRILLED to be pregnant (and even though Hannah is 21 and old enough to be married and have a baby, no "ships" are on the horizon!). I feel just as good physically as I did when I had my last baby at 44!!
In His Joy and Grace,

I answered "yes" because, well, I am a grandmother and have grandchild number 4 on the way! I was pregnant along with our oldest daughter (she was 20, and I 41 six years ago!) She had a baby boy, our first grandchild, and we had a baby girl 9 weeks later. We were pregnant together and it was absolutely wonderful! She has had 2 more babies since then, and I continue to be hopeful for us to have more even though our other daughter is newly married and expecting her first! Having grandchildren at the same time as having your own adds a wonderful, special dimension to the family that can't even be described. It creates a precious closeness and bond. God is so good! Our little five year old daughter prays all the time for Jesus to give us another baby! Will you all pray for us, too? Thanks! I knew I could count on you all! Just know that I am joining the rest of you in prayer for one another as well. Again, I say, our God is so very good!
Because of the Love of Jesus,
Holly
