IT'S A BOY!! number 7 son (out of 8 ) Connor Emmanuel Shepherd(meaning one who desires to see God and lead His people)) was born Saturday 9:53 pm, after a great labour and blessed delivery. Only took 3 pushes, Jesus carried me through! He is absolutely perfect, 7lb 5 oz. and we are so very thankful. He looks like a conglomeration of all his siblings! lol, and is such a sweet precious baby. I can say after all the worry and wonderment It WAS Worth it All! I am so in love with this sweet little one. I would even love another if God would bless!! ;-)God was so faithful in every step of the pregnancy and even though I had fear going into labour, He truly cave me courage and took care of the details. Praise you God! \o/ Thanks for your support and care ladies. Very Happy

(BTW my facebook profile is open for all to view wall pictures, where there are some of Connor and family at the end. Unfortunately alost all of the post-delivery pics of me were deemed 'unacceptable ' by me! lol so we will have to take more of Baby and mom pics soon, Rolling Eyes

Connor is already 9 days old, and doing so well, a very mild and content baby so far. Nursing is going very well.I am regaining my strength and friends have been so sweet to deliver meals this week, what a blessing. I am just so thankful for God's mercies in the absolutely complication free preganancy and delivery...a team was ready in the room, all ready for me to have trouble with hemorraging but all was normal and good. It was a gentle labour for me, slower and less intense than all my previous, and very manageable, without any medication. Baby was born less than 15 minutes after membranes ruptured, in around 3 pushes. Thanks Tamara and ladies for your prayers and support. I am now even thinking how nice it would be for baby Connor to have a sibling closer in age....but again, we trust God in His perfect wisdom! Truly it was his Word that sustained me in this pregnancy, it was not easy emotionally, especially with the job and financial upset we have been facing and still face. We continue to trust in his goodness and faithfulness.....
