I've had an 8 year old, a 6 year old and a 4 year old since I've turned 40. We are all enjoying the younger ones development so much...they keep us all laughing!

How old are my childre since I've given birth in my 40's? Matthew is 5 and Caleb is 3 and one in the womb at 5 weeks.
I started my family at 35 and have 5 beautiful blessings! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

I pop in here for a little encouragement from time to time - thank you so much for this site, Tamara
My now 8 1/2 yr old daughter was born 2 months before my 40th birthday, then along came a son a few months before my 41st, another son a week after my 43rd and a little girl (now 3 1/2) a couple of weeks after my 45th.
It's an honor, a privilege and great joy to be rearing little ones along with older ones in my 40's and soon 50's!
Linda, Devoted wife of 22 years, Adoring Mama to 4 strong sons, 3 beautiful daughters and one more due to join us in June!

So good to have you posting, Linda! And how blessed you have been!
Our lives are very different than women whose children have all grown up, but I am thankful to the Lord every day for our precious little mid-life blessing who will turn 8 in March. It's going to be a long time until our nest is empty.
Just recently we had a conversation after doing an aerobic work out together. She said, "Mommy, I'm not tired at all!" I was obviously exhausted. So I responded, "Well, I'm not surprised, after all I am 4X years older than you are!" She gave me a shocked look and said, "Wow...REALLY?!!! That's a LOT!"
On the whole though she keeps me feeling young!
Blessings,
Tamara (mom of seven; grandma to two so far!)
