Updates 

 

November 2, 2006: 

I'm afraid I've neglected to update you here! I'll just share that I've been exceedingly busy having a fantastic time with our sweet little four year old, who continues to fill each day with such delight and joy! Not only are we able to keep up with her --she still likes to take her daily nap just like her father and I do, and she gives us a terrific excuse to stay home at night instead of having to go out all the time.

The bottom line: The adventure that began with our surprise pregnancy continues to be one of the greatest experiences of our lives. We highly recommend having a baby in mid-life!

 

April 28, 2005: 

We have an all new message board system! We've made the change to a new message board system which will offer us many more features than the old one. I'm working on transferring some of the old messages from the old board over to the new as "SheLaughed Archives", so we won't lose all the good testimonies and discussions, but I'm counting on all of you to fill up the new board with positive discussions! 

You'll have an opportunity to fill out a profile, too,  and enable private messages, if you would like, so there will be even more fellowship options. Your privacy will be protected because you have the ability to provide just as much information or as little information as you'd like!

I realize we're all busy moms here, but please take time to quickly register and join us on the board. All you need to provide is a valid email address and user name and you'll be all set to go! I look forward to participating more here and meeting many other moms who are either expecting now or have already had babies in their 40's!

January 16, 2005: Since we opened the message board area, I must confess I've neglected to post updates or new articles, but just posted on the message board area instead.  Please be sure to check out all the messages there!

I do hope to add more articles to the site this year though. Now that our little blessing is almost three, I should have a bit more time to write! (When I'm not too busy having tea parties and dressing up dolls and playing with Caitlin in the sand box, etc., We do have loads of fun together!)

March 12, 2004 : Finally opened up the New Message Board area and started working on restoring all of the articles and pages for the site.

SheLaughed.com was first "birthed" in December of 2002, but lost most of its content during a huge server and multiple computer crash in November 2003.  I am now working from a brand new computer and hope to restore many of the articles in between caring for my now active toddler and doing the billion other things that a busy wife, mother, and grandmother gets to do most days!

Some of the testimonies you sent in were lost so please send them again, and if you haven't shared your story, please do so! We want to hear from you!

We also welcome prayer requests, either post them on the new message board or email me if you'd like to keep it private. I would be blessed to pray for you!
